The Wabash volleyball team pushed Baldwin Wallace to four sets in both matches between the two first-year squads Sunday afternoon in Berea, Ohio. The Little Giants scored wins in the third set of both matches in a pair of 3-1 losses. Wabash lost the first match by scores of 19-25, 26-28, 25-19, 18-25. The Little Giants fell in the second match 13-25, 22-25, 26-24, 12-25.

Wabash (2-6) lost the first two sets of the opening match despite pushing the Yellow Jackets (6-2) to a 28-26 score in the second. The Little Giants fell behind early 4-1 in the set but rallied to eventually take a 13-11 lead. Wabash expanded the lead to 23-16 before winning the set on kills by
Luke Wallace and
Evan Nichols.

Wabash recorded a total of 34 kills in the first match with a high of 12 in the second set. Wallace led the way with 10 individual kills.
Luke Davis tallied 24 of the Little Giants' 28 assists. Wabash recorded six blocks as a team led by Nichols with four block assists. The Little Giants also recorded 11 service aces. Wallace had a team-high four.

Wabash rallied again in the third set of the second match after dropping the first two sets. The Little Giants took a 4-0 lead but fell behind 20-15 late in the match. Wabash rallied to tie the score at 24-24. Wallace took a set from
Luke Davis and provided a kill for a 25-24 lead before joining Davis for a block for the game-winning point in the 26-24 victory.

Wallace once again paced the team in kills with 14. Davis provided 32 assists.
Justin Abequibel led the team with 25 digs with a .926 reception percentage. Wabash made seven team blocks in the final match. Wallace paced the effort with four block assists.
