The Wabash College tennis team opened the 2021 season Saturday with a 6-3 home victory over Manchester University to give head coach
Daniel Bickett his first victory at the helm of the Little Giant program.

Wabash (1-0) swept all three doubles matches and scored victories at number two, five, and six singles to earn the three-point decision.

The Little Giants opened the contest with an 8-5 win by the number one doubles team of
Reese Long and
Liam Grennon.
Cole Borden and
Paul Hargitt combined for an 8-6 victory at number two doubles.
Reed Mathis and
Trevor McKinney scored an 8-5 win in the third doubles flight.

Borden picked up the first singles point for Wabash with a dominating 6-2, 6-0 win in the second flight. Long secured the team win for the Little Giants with a 6-2, 6-2 victory in straight sets at number five singles. McKinney closed out the day for Wabash with a 6-4, 6-2 win at number six singles for the 6-3 final score.

Wabash will travel to the Chicago area next Saturday for an 11 a.m. (CST) match versus North Central College.
