The Wabash tennis team traveled to Aurora, Illinois, Friday evening to face North Central College for the first time in program history. The Little Giants lost to the undefeated Cardinals by a final score of 9-0.
 
Wabash (1-1) lost number one and two doubles by identical 8-1 scores. The Little Giants fell by a score of 8-2 in the third doubles flight.
 
Wabash freshman Cole Borden pushed Guillermo Gonzalez from North Central (3-0) to a tiebreaker in the first set of number two singles before losing by a score of 7-6 (4). Gonzalez won the second set 6-2 to take the match. The Little Giants lost the remaining singles matches in straight sets.
 
Wabash will play a pair of matches against Hanover College on Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. at the Collett Tennis Center.
