Wabash played its first home baseball game since April 2019 on Saturday in a double-header against Alma College. The visiting Scots took both contests by scores of 4-0 and 11-6.

Wabash (1-2) threatened in the first inning of game one, loading the bases with one out. The Little Giants were unable to plate a run, ending the inning with a ground ball to third and a flyout to left. Alma (3-3) score a pair of runs in the fourth inning and added one run in the fifth and another in the sixth innings.

Wabash picked up four hits through seven innings.
Austin Simmers,
Andrew Jumonville,
Liam Patton, and
Cole Vassilo each recorded singles in the contest.
Kase Lawson took the loss by working four innings in his second start of the season. He scattered three hits and one walk while striking out four batters.
Dylan Scheid pitched three innings of relief, also allowing three hits along with three walks.

The Little Giants scored first in game two versus the Scots. Simmers opened the bottom of the first inning with a double to right field and came around to score on a double by freshman
AJ Reid. Alma took the lead with a five-run third inning. Wabash answered with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third on RBI singles by Jumonville and Patton.

The Scots broke the game open with a four-run fourth and added two more in the fifth. Wabash scored a single run in the bottom of the fourth on a single by Simmers down the left field line.
Canton Terry added an RBI single in the eighth inning as did Vassilo in the ninth.

Tyler Dearing pitched 3-1/3 innings and allowed seven hits and four walks in the game two start.
Logan Butrum,
Eric Lakomek, and
Jacob Bishop all worked in relief for Wabash.

Simmers collected three hits to lead the Wabash offense in game two. Reid, Jumonville, and Patton each collected two hits in the loss.
