Wabash traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio, Saturday for two Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League matches versus the team from Mount St. Joseph University. The host Lions captured wins in both games by scores of 3-0.

The Little Giants (2-10) lost the first match 25-20, 25-7, 25-6. Wabash matched MSJ (7-1) point for point in the first set before the Lions moved in front 22-15. The Little Giants drew as close as 24-20 before Mount St. Joseph scored the decisive final point. Wabash held a 7-5 lead in the second set but MSJ scored 20 unanswered points on the serve of Derek DeMaison to claim game two. DeMaison finished off the final set with points on 10 of the final 11 serves.

Ricky Sessions finished the first match with a .385 kill percentage, putting away five of his 13 total attacks.
Luke Davis scored 16 set assists.
Thang Sathing led the Little Giants with a .900 reception percentage with 18 receptions and only two receiving errors.
Justin Abequibel finished with a .885 reception percentage with 23 receptions as well as six digs.
Luke Wallace had 17 receptions and two service aces.

Wabash was never able to gain momentum in the second game. The Little Giants picked up the lead only once in three sets with losses by scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-18. Wallace posted nine kills for Wabash in the second game. Davis picked up 19 set assists. Sathing's 25 receptions were tops for the Little Giants while Abequibel led the team with five digs.

Wabash will return to Chadwick Court on Sunday, March 14 for the final time this season. The Little Giants will honor Wallace as the only senior member of the team prior to the opening serve at 1 p.m. No general admission is allowed. The matches will be broadcast live at
