Wabash scored seven runs over two innings to complete a Sunday afternoon doubleheader sweep at DePauw and claim six wins out of eight meetings between the two teams this season. The Little Giants won game two against DePauw 11-6 after winning game one 4-3.

Wabash (16-12) trailed the Tigers (10-14) in game one 2-0.
Andrew Jumonville cut the lead in half with an RBI single in the top of the third to score

Kamden Earley gave the Little Giants the lead with his first collegiate home run, a two-run blast to right field in the fourth inning to score
Noah Luebbehusen and provide a 3-2 lead.

DePauw tied the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the fifth inning on a wild pitch. Wabash regained the lead for good in the top of the sixth.
Felix Valero was hit by a pitch with one out, then advanced to third on a double by Simmers. Jumonville added another RBI to his totals with a sacrifice fly to bring home Valero with the eventual winning run.

Tyler Dearing picked up his third win of the season by pitching an eight-hit complete game. He gave up two earned runs over seven innings and allowed four walks with five strikeouts.

Cole Vassilo each picked up two hits for Wabash in game one. The Little Giants finished with seven hits overall.

Wabash jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning of game two on a wild pitch and a Vassilo RBI ground out. The Tigers rallied for three runs in the bottom of the first before the Wabash offense exploded in the third and fourth innings.
Canton Terry drove in a pair of runs in the third with a single to right.
Cameron Martin added an RBI single to put the Little Giants in front 5-3.

Wabash took advantage of mistakes by DePauw in the fourth inning. A bases-loaded balk and another bases-loaded wild pitch brought in two runs in the fourth.
Sean Smith drove in another with an RBI single to right ahead of an RBI double by Terry to stretch the lead to 9-3.
Matthew Annee added the final blow with a two-run double in the sixth to put the game out of reach despite a rally in the seventh by the Tigers.

Terry collected four hits and three RBI in game two as part of a 16-hit effort by Wabash. Martin picked up three hits.
Blake Juerling and Annee each finished with two hits.

Sam Phillips earned his first win of the season in relief. He pitched two scoreless innings for the Little Giants.

Wabash completes the North Coast Athletic Conference portion of its 2021 schedule this week against Wittenberg University. The Little Giants play host to Wittenberg on Thursday for a doubleheader at Goodrich Ballpark beginning at 1 p.m. prior to traveling to Springfield, Ohio for a pair of games on Saturday.
