Freshman Anthony Nguyen scored a pair of goals for the Wabash College lacrosse team Tuesday evening in the Little Giants' North Coast Athletic Conference contest at ninth-ranked Denison University. The host Big Red won the contest 29-2.
 
Nguyen's first goal came in the closing seconds of the third period. He added a second goal with 39 seconds remaining in the game for his team-leading 18^th goal of the season.
 
Nguyen and Joseph Plencner led Wabash (4-4, 0-3 NCAC) on offense with four shots apiece. Goalkeeper Stephen Krajcir made 14 saves and led the Little Giants with five ground balls. Cody Bevelhimer and Dylan Lewis each forced a turnover by Denison (3-1, 2-1 NCAC).
 
Wabash and Denison will meet again on Saturday at Fischer Field on the Wabash campus at 3 p.m.
