Seventy-one Wabash College students competing in varsity athletics for the Little Giants were named to the 2020-2021 North Coast Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll.
To be named to the NCAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore on an active roster in a sport sponsored by the conference and hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher. A record total of 1,123 student-athletes were named to the 2020-21 NCAC Academic Honor Roll. The honorees were selected from all 10 full-time NCAC institutions and one affiliate member, Earlham College.
The 71 Wabash honorees were the second-highest total of male student-athletes recognized from any member institution in the conference, trailing only DePauw with 74. A total of 351 male student-athletes were honored.
In addition to the 71 Little Giants honored by the NCAC, four Wabash wrestlers --- Evan Burge, Anthony Cicciarelli, Jackson Heldt, and Grant Johnson --- met the criteria of a 3.50 cumulative GPA and at least a sophomore on the active roster. Wrestling and men's volleyball are not sports sponsored by the North Coast Athletic Conference. Wabash is one of only three schools in the conference with a varsity wrestling program. Wabash is one of three NCAC schools with a varsity men's volleyball program, as well.
