The Wabash tennis team swept a pair of home matches Saturday. The Little Giants dispatched Manchester University by a score of 8-1 before sweeping Capital University 9-0 in the nightcap.

Wabash (2-2) opened Saturday morning's match with a sweep of doubles.
Cole Borden and
Liam Grennon scored an 8-0 shutout win in the first flight.
Alvaro Alonso-Sanchez and
Jett Brownlee combined to sin 8-2 at number two doubles. Christian Zimmerman and
Elias Courter received a forfeit in the third flight.

Borden scored a straight-sets win at number one singles by scores of 6-0, 6-2. Zimmerman won 6-1, 6-0 at number two singles. Brownlee shut out his number-three singles opponent by winning 6-0, 6-0.
Ethan Wallace and
Devin Vanyo received victories by forfeit at number five and number six singles.

The Little Giants swept all nine matches against Capital in the evening match. Borden and Grennon picked up an 8-4 victory in the first doubles flight. Alonso-Sanchez and Brownlee won 8-3 at number two doubles. Zimmerman combined with
Reed Mathis to earn an 8-0 shutout victory at number three doubles.

Borden claimed a 7-5, 6-1 win in his number-one singles match against Capital. Alonso-Sanchez won in straight sets at number-two singles 6-0, 6-4. Grennon picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win in the third singles flight. Zimmerman scored identical 6-1, 6-1 wins in his number-four singles match. Brownlee earned a 6-0, 6-2 in fifth singles. Mathis closed out the night with a 6-0, 6-2 victory in sixth singles to complete the 9-0 win.

Wabash will take on Franklin College and Greenville University Saturday, February 26 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Collett Tennis Center.
