Wabash rallied from one set down in Wednesday evening's home volleyball match against North Park University to even the score at 1-1. The Little Giants lost the final two sets in a 3-1 defeat against the visiting Vikings.

Wabash (3-13) dropped the opening set 25-10 before its second-set victory. The two teams traded points in a set that featured 11 ties with two lead changes. With the score tied at 18-18, Wabash ran off three consecutive points for a 21-18 lead. The Little Giants closed out the set with a 25-22 win to even the overall score at a set apiece.

Wabash took an early lead in the third set until North Park (11-9) tied the score at 2-2. The teams shared four ties in the set until the Vikings surged to a 17-7 lead and an eventual 25-16 victory. North Park never trailed in the final set although Wabash did manage to tie the score five times before falling 25-19 for the 3-1 loss.

Luke Davis led Wabash with eight kills on the night.
Jackson Leeper recorded six kills in nine total attacks for a hitting percentage of .667.
Zachary Small gave out a team-high 22 assists and paced the offensive effort with six digs.
Luis Rivera,
Thang Sathing, and Davis each finished with five digs apiece.

Wabash closes out the home portion of its 2022 schedule on Sunday with a 2 p.m. Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League contest against Trine University at Chadwick Court.
