Wabash matched Kenyon College hit for hit in Sunday's North Coast Athletic Conference baseball game in Gambier, Ohio. The Little Giants were not able to match the host Lords on the scoreboard, losing both games of the doubleheader 5-1 in game one and 10-4 in game two.

Wabash (12-8, 0-5 NCAC) collected six hits in game one compared to seven by Kenyon (17-6, 6-0 NCAC). The Lords took the early lead with a bases-loaded hit batsman to move in front 1-0. Kenyon added two more runs in the fifth inning and another in the seventh to take a 4-0 lead. Wabash scored its lone run in the eighth.
Reece Bauer drew a one-out walk and moved to third on an error by Kenyon on a ground ball by
Austin Simmers.
Camden Scheidt brought Bauer home with a sacrifice fly. Kenyon answered with a run in the bottom of the eighth inning for the 5-1 victory.

Dylan Scheid took his second loss of the season. The senior pitched six innings and allowed four runs on five hits while walking six batters and hitting two. He struck out three Kenyon players in the game.
Tavic Simmons pitched the final two innings and limited Kenyon to one unearned run on two hits.

The Little Giants jumped in front 2-0 in game two against Kenyon. Bauer singled home Neukam with two outs in the second inning before a Simmers double scored
Felix Valero from second. The Lords jumped in front with a five-run third inning before adding two more runs in the fifth.

Wabash scored two runs with two out in the top half of the sixth inning.
Julian Rutherford drove in Neukam ahead of an RBI single by Bauer to cut the Kenyon lead to 7-4. Kenyon responded with a run in the sixth before scoring two more in the eighth for the six-run decision.

Simmers, Neukam, and Bauer each collected two of the Little Giants' 10 hits in the game. Scheidt, Reid,
Will Phillips, and Rutherford picked up one hit apiece.

Jacob Bishop pitched 2-2/3 innings while giving up five runs on two hits and four walks. He struck out one batter.
Gavin Patrick pitched three innings of three-run baseball. He surrendered five hits and struck out two batters.
Sam Phillips closed out the game for the Little Giants on the mound. He gave up two runs on four hits with one strikeout.
