Artie Rogers picked up an assist on the Wabash lacrosse team's first goal of the evening in the team's North Coast Athletic Conference game at Wittenberg. The assist was his 23
rd of the season to break the Little Giants' single-season record despite the 19-3 road loss to the Tigers.

Rogers' 23
rd goal broke the former record of 22 set by Steven Stark in 2016. Rogers recorded the record-setting assist on a goal by
Ethan Stonis in the final two minutes of the first quarter.
Joseph Plencner added the second Wabash (3-10, 0-6 NCAC) goal with 1:24 left in the first half.
Caulin Fitzgerald tallied the final goal in the fourth period off a pass from
Anthony Nguyen.

Wittenberg (3-9, 3-3 NCAC) held a 4-1 lead in the first period before scoring five goals in each of the three remaining periods.

Stonis led Wabash with five shots in the contest. Nguyen, Fitzgerald, and
Jeremiah Eaton each tallied three shots apiece.
Evan Schiefelbein led the Little Giants with nine ground balls. He and
John Frey each caused two turnovers in the game.

Matthew Hendrick recorded 18 saves overall in the game.

Wabash completes its two-game road trip with a 1 p.m. contest at Kenyon on Saturday.
