Taylor Tallys Lone Goal In Loss At Kenyon

Josh Taylor scored his fourth goal of the season on Saturday to tally the Wabash lacrosse team's lone goal in a 26-1 road North Coast Athletic Conference loss at Kenyon College.
 
Taylor scored with 1:49 remaining in the second period off a pass from single-season assists leader Artie Rogers for his 24th helper of the year. Wabash (3-11, 0-7 NCAC) finished with 16 shots on goal led by Joseph Plencner with five. Anthony Nguyen added four shots on goal. Kenyon (11-3, 6-1 NCAC) put 38 shots on goal in the game.
 
Evan Schiefelbein scooped up a team-high nine ground balls. AJ Miller paced the Wabash defense with two caused turnovers. Matthew Hendrick recorded 12 saves in goal for the Little Giants.
 
Wabash plays its final home game of the season on Tuesday at 5 p.m. against Ohio Wesleyan University.
