Crawfordsville, Indiana --- Wabash College sophomore
Hayden Eaton scored his first collegiate goal 16 minutes into Saturday's soccer match against Olivet College. The goal was the first of four by the Little Giants on the afternoon in a 4-0 victory over the visiting Comets.

Eaton collected his own rebound off a save shot by the Olivet (0-2) goalkeeper. He fired the second chance into the back of the net to give Wabash (2-0) the early lead. Freshman Caleb Castaño put the Little Giants up 2-0 in the 29
th minute with a shot off a pass from
Jerry Little II. Castaño and fellow freshman
Myles Bernat each fired a pair of shots on goal in the contest to lead Wabash in that category.
Bernat and
Austin Hughes combined to provide assists on the third Wabash goal from
Jesse Martinez in the 36
th minute to provide a 3-0 lead for the Little Giants at halftime. Bernat put in the match's final goal with a score in the 84
th minute to provide the 4-0 final.

Freshman keeper
Soren Russell recorded one save while facing six total shot attempts in the match to record his first career victory and complete-game shutout. Wabash outshot Olivet 15-6 overall and held a 10-1 advantage in shots on goal.

Wabash completes its weekend schedule with a Sunday match versus Mount St. Joseph University at 2 p.m. at Fischer Field. The Little Giants will honor the senior class members of the team before the start of the contest.
