Wabash College senior quarterback Liam Thompson earned North Coast Athletic Conference Offensive Football Athlete of the Week honors after breaking the conference record for career total offense yards and the school record for the longest touchdown pass.
 
Thompson eclipsed the NCAC record held by Mason Espinosa of 10,839 yards after recording a 490-yard game in a 45-35 win over Wooster on Saturday. Thompson increased his career total offense numbers to 11,238 yards after rushing for 201 yards and two touchdowns, and passing for 289 yards and four scores against the Fighting Scots on Saturday. He broke the NCAC record with a 90-yard touchdown throw to Derek Allen, Jr. in the first quarter of the game against Wooster to also break the Wabash record for the longest pass in a game. The previous record of 86 yards was held by Jake Knott on a pass to Eric Summers against Wittenberg in 2002.
