Two second-half goals lifted the Wabash College soccer team to a 2-0 home win over Hiram College Saturday afternoon at Fischer Field. The Little Giants honored seniors

Collin Johnson before the North Coast Athletic Conference contest started.

Wabash (5-2-4, 1-0-1 NCAC) put up nine shots on goal, including four in the opening 45 minutes of the match. An early attempt by
Bruno Zamora grazed the crossbar and bounced down to the turf in front of the goal but would not bounce for the score.
Jose Escalante fired a shot that got past the Hiram (4-8-1, 0-3-0 NCAC) goalkeeper in the 22nd minute, but one of the Terriers' defenders kicked the ball away before it could cross the line for a goal.

The Little Giants scored in the 53rd minute when
Jackson Grabill found the back of the net for his first goal of the season.
Jesse Martinez stretched the lead to 2-0 in favor of Wabash with his fifth goal of the season, tying him for the team lead. Martinez collected a pass from Zamora and delivered the insurance goal in the 56th minute.

Fernando Ramos posted his third complete-game shutout of the season. He did not face a shot on goal by the Terriers in the contest. Wabash outshot Hiram 14-2 and took five corner kicks compared to one by the Terriers. Hiram was called for one offsides penalty, while Wabash drew two offsides whistles.
