The Wabash College volleyball team played its first Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League contest of the 2023 season with a road game at Wittenberg University. The Little Giants lost in three sets by scores of 25-15, 25-16, and 25-14.

Wabash (7-13, 0-1 MCVL) held 1-0 leads at the start of the first and third sets but could not maintain the advantage. Wittenberg (12-8, 1-0 MCVL) held the lead throughout the remainder of the sets for the sweep.

Jackson Leeper paced the offense with eight kills and a .389 attack percentage. Ricky Sessions added seven kills. Will Beikes gave out 19 assists. Zachary Small recorded 12 digs. Michael Enz picked up three block assists at the net for the Little Giants.

Wabash continues its league schedule with a 2 p.m. match Saturday afternoon at Mount St. Joseph University.
