The Wabash College tennis team won all three doubles matches and claimed victories in five of six singles contests to defeat Hanover 8-1 Saturday afternoon at the Collett Tennis Center.

Wabash (8-4) won its fourth consecutive match and improved to 5-1 in home matches this season.

The Little Giants opened with an 8-2 victory at number two doubles by
Ethan Koeneman and
Cole Shifferly.
Cole Borden and
Blake Discher II combined for an 8-6 win in the third doubles flight.
Alvaro Alonso-Sanchez and
Augusto Ghidini combined for an 8-5 win at number one doubles to complete the sweep.

Shifferly won his number two singles match in straight sets (6-4, 6-0). Borden scored a 6-4, 6-4 win at number three singles. Ghidini gave Wabash a 6-1 lead in the team score with his 6-4, 6-2 win at number four singles. Tharakesh Shokar won 6-1, 6-2 at number five singles. Koeneman closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at number six singles.

Wabash travels to Chicago next Saturday for a match against Roosevelt University.
