Jacob Bishop was mowing people down on Monday, striking out eight Illinois Wesleyan (4-11) hitters over six innings of work to help propel the Little Giants to victory.The eight strikeout effort matched Bishop's single-game best effort. He struck out eight batters twice during the 2022 season and fanned eight Swarthmore batters earlier this year.

In addition to his eight strikeouts, Bishop (3-2) went six innings, giving up four runs, all of them earned, on five hits and walking one for Wabash. Sophomore
