Junior Ricky Session became the first Wabash College volleyball player to reach 500 carer kills with his nine-kill effort against Adrian College. The Little Giants could not convert that record-setting effort into a win, dropping a 3-0 contest to the visiting Bulldogs in Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League competition Friday evening at Chadwick Court.
 
Wabash (8-19, 0-7 MCVL) battled the Bulldogs (16-11, 3-4 MCVL) in all three sets. The Little Giants lost the opener 25-21 before playing to 20 ties and five lead changes in a 27-25 loss in the second set. Adrian won with a 25-22 decision in the final set.
 
Sessions put away nine kills and made a team-high eight digs for Wabash in the match. Patrick Volk led the Little Giants with ten kills and a .231 attack percentage. Will Beikes recorded 26 assists.
 
Wabash completes its 2023 season on Saturday with a 2 p.m. home match against Olivet College.
