Wabash College senior catcher
Liam Patton earned North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Player of the Week honors for his efforts in two weekend conference series for the Little Giants.
Patton batted .636 with six RBI and 15 total bases to help Wabash earn a berth in the 2023 NCAC Baseball Tournament. He hit two doubles and two home runs for a 1.364 slugging percentage. Patton also drew two walks and was hit by two pitches for a .750 on-base percentage.

He brought home two runs with a double in the Little Giants' 8-4 win in 11 innings Saturday at Wooster as part of a 3-for-4 effort at the plate. Sunday, the senior hit his sixth home run of the season to provide the game-winning RBI in a 10-4 victory at Ohio Wesleyan that secured the tournament berth for Wabash. He finished the game with two hits and one walk in five plate appearances.
This marks the second time this season Patton received NCAC Baseball Player of the Week honors.
