Wabash rallied from a 1-0 deficit to tie its Monday evening soccer match at Hanover College with a goal in the 75
th minute. The host Panthers scored late in the game to claim a 2-1 decision to hand the Little Giants their first loss of the year.

Wabash (3-1-2) and Hanover (3-4) played to a 0-0 draw in the first 45 minutes. The Little Giants put two shots on goal while holding the host Panthers without a shot on goal for the period.

Hanover scored in the 54
th minute on a penalty kick. Omar Dizdar converted the one-on-one opportunity to put the Panthers in front 1-0.
Bruno Zamora evened the score in the 75
th minute with his first goal of the year. Hanover scored the game-winning goal in the 86
th minute. Louan Seveno scored his first goal of the season off a pass from Dizdar to give the Panthers the victory.

Wabash outshot Hanover 12-10 but put just four shots on goal compared to five for the Panthers. Wabash keeper Fernando recorded three saves for the Little Giants.

Wabash continues the non-conference portion of its schedule with a home match against Hope College on Saturday, September 23, as part of the College's annual Homecoming weekend. Kickoff at Fischer Field is at 12 p.m.
