Wabash College matched visiting Hope College shot for shot in Saturday's Homecoming soccer contest. However, the Little Giants could not find the back of the net in a 3-0 loss to the Flying Dutchmen.
 
Wabash (3-2-2) fired seven total shots and three shots on goal in the contest.  Freshman Bryce Kinnaman finished with two shots on goal. Jackson Grabill added a third shot on goal in the game for the Little Giants.
 
Hope (6-1-2). Scored the first goal of the match in the 13^th minute when Ethan Jansen collected his own rebound off a shot and scored to give the Flying Dutchmen a 1-0 lead. Mario Hrvojevic made it a 2-0 contest with a goal in the 24^th minute. Thomas DeVries took a pass from Jansen in the 66^th minute to add a second-half goal for Hope and put the game away for the 3-0 final.
 
Wabash goalkeeper Fernando Ramos finished with four saves in the match.
 
Wabash returns to action on Tuesday with a 4 p.m. home contest against Illinois Wesleyan University.
