The Wabash College soccer team surrendered six second-half goals, with the final four goals coming with the Little Giants a man down, in an 8-0 North Coast Athletic Conference loss Wednesday evening at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Wabash falls to 9-4-2 overall with the loss and 2-2-1 in NCAC contests. Ohio Wesleyan improves to 9-3-2 and 4-0-1 in conference games.

The Little Giants fell behind 2-0 in the first half of a physical match that saw 30 fouls called and eight cards issued overall. Ohio Wesleyan took the 1-0 lead in the 29
th minute before adding a second goal in the 32
nd minute. The Battling Bishops added two more goals in the second half before Wabash senior
Andre Aguilera drew a red card in the 49
th minute to put the Little Giants down a man for the remainder of the match. OWU took advantage of the extra-man opportunity, scoring four more times for the 8-0 final.

Ohio Wesleyan outshot the Little Giants 23-12 and held a 15-4 edge in shots on goal. Wabash goalkeeper

The loss drops the Little Giants into fifth place in the NCAC standings, one point behind DePauw in fourth place with three matches remaining in the regular season. Wabash returns home to face 15
th-ranked Kenyon College on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
