Quinn Fitzgerald and
Jake Pippen scored three goals apiece as eight different Little Giant lacrosse players tallied goals in a 13-1 home victory over Earlham College Wednesday evening to open the 2024 season.

Wabash (1-0) jumped out to a 1-0 lead 46 seconds into the contest when Fitzgerald scored his first goal off a pass from Pippen. Fitzgerald added a second goal midway through the first period before
Sam Santiago provided a third goal for a 3-0 lead.

Blake Stephens added his first career goal to open the second period. Freshman
Zade Kalesperis scored a man-up goal midway through the second period to push the lead to 5-0. Pippen's first goal with 1:30 remaining in the half gave the Little Giants a 6-0 advantage at the break.

Fitzgerald and Pippen started the second half scoring ahead of a goal from
Evan Stonis. A final goal from Pippen closed out the third period with Wabash in front 10-0.

Will Sorg scored his first collegiate goal in the fourth period, and two goals from freshman
Christian Dybedock completed the scoring for the Little Giants.

Artie Rogers gave out a team-best four assists for Wabash. Dybedock finished with three assists.
Quinn Shefferly, Fitzgerald, Santiago, and Pippen each added one assist apiece.

Wabash outshot Earlham (0-1) 48-18. The Little Giants limited Earlham to 18 successful clears in 27 attempts. The Little Giants went 16-of-18 on clearing attempts. Wabash finished 1-of-1 in man-up opportunities, while Earlham was 0-for-4.

The Little Giants forced ten Quaker turnovers. Shefferly led the team with three caused turnovers.
Luka DiFilippo went 13 of 16 in faceoffs and scooped up ten ground balls to lead Wabash overall.

Wabash travels to Cincinnati, Ohio, on Saturday to play Muskingum University in a neutral-site contest at Mount St. Joseph University.
