The Wabash College lacrosse team extended its winning streak to five games with an 18-8 home victory Saturday afternoon against Hanover College.

Wabash (6-1) scored two goals in the first two minutes to take the early lead.
Jake Pippen found the back of the net to stake the Little Giants to the 2-0 lead.
Artie Rogers and
Evan Stonis followed with one goal apiece to put Wabash in front 4-0. Pippen added another goal, along with scores from
Christian Dybedock and
Quinn Fitzgerald, to put the Little Giants up 7-1 in the first period.

Wabash added six more goals in the second period for a 13-2 halftime lead and tallied three goals in the third and two in the fourth for the ten-goal differential.

Pippen finished the game with five goals to lead the team. Fitzgerald and Dybedock each scored four times.
Sam Santiago added two goals, while
Blake Stephens, Rogers, and Stonis scored once each. Dybedock handed out a team-best five assists. Fitzgerald and Rogers gave out two assists, and Rogers, Stephens,
Will Sorg, and Stonis each tallied one assist.

Stonis caused a team-high four turnovers for Wabash.
Luka DiFilippo won 24-of-29 faceoffs and scooped up a squad-best 18 ground balls.
Colin Krekeler earned the win in goal for the Little Giants by recording seven saves.
Hayden Hicks and Colin Hamilton finished with one save apiece in reserve roles.

Wabash is off until March 26, when the Little Giants wrap up their non-conference schedule with a home contest against Augustana College.
