Box Score The Wabash College volleyball rallied to force a fourth set in its final home match of the 2024 season versus Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League foe Trine University. The Little Giants lost in a 3-1 contest.
 
Wabash (13-8, 1-3 MCVL) battled to seven ties and three lead changes in the opening set against the visiting Thunder (13-4, 3-0 MCVL) before losing 25-17. Trine jumped out to a 6-1 lead in the second set to eventually claim a 25-19 win.
 
The Little Giants took control of the third set to break a 7-7 tie and outscore Trine 18-9 to earn a 25-16 victory and force a fourth set. The Thunder took control after the first two serves produced a 1-1 tie to finish off the match with a 25-14 victory for the 3-1 final. Trine used a solid defense at the net to claim the win by producing 16 block assists and two solo blocks.
 
Ricky Sessions scored a team-best 19 kills with a .417 attack percentage. Will Beikes gave out 41 assists. Zev Wolverton picked up 13 digs on defense for the Little Giants.
 
Wabash travels to Fontbonne University in St. Louis on Friday, March 22.
