The Wabash College volleyball team completed its weekend road trip to Ohio with a Saturday afternoon Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League match at Baldwin Wallace University. The Little Giants lost to the host Yellow Jackets 3-0.

Wabash (14-10, 2-5 MCVL) traded five leads with Baldwin Wallace (13-12, 7-1 NCAC) and forced 14 ties in the first set before taking a two-point loss, 25-23. The Yellow Jackets took the second set by leading from the outset for a 25-14 victory. Wabash battled back in the third, once again forcing four lead changes with nine ties, with the final one coming at 24-24. Baldwin Wallace scored the final two points for a 26-24 victory to lock up the 3-0 win for the match.

Bawibawi Thang paced the Wabash offense with seven kills.
Ricky Sessions put away six kills, with
Zev Wolverton and
Patrick Volk adding five kills apiece.
Luke Davis gave out 12 assists.
Julian Alvizo recorded 11 assists.
Christopher Board led the Little Giants on defense with 13 digs.

Wabash wraps up the 2024 season next weekend with a trip to Michigan to face the University of Oivet and Adrian College beginning Friday at 7 p.m.
