Wabash started the first day of its spring break trip Wednesday with a 3-1 victory at Midway College in Kentucky. An injury in the second match between Wabash and Bluefield University ended in a 3-0 forfeit by the Little Giants due to a limited travel roster for the spring break trip.

Wabash (11-6) opened with a four-set win at Midway Wednesday morning. The Little Giants raced out to a 10-4 lead in the first set and claimed a 25-16 victory. Midway (2-12) took the second set 25-23, but the Little Giants rallied for a 25-22 win in the third set before finishing the match with a 25-18 victory in the fourth set.

Wabash posted a .315 attack percentage against Midway with 60 total kills to set a new program four-set record.
Bawibawi Thang recorded 25 kills with a .370 attack percentage, one kill shy of tying the program record for kills in a four-set match.
Zev Wolverton scored 15 kills with a .344 attack percentage.
Jackson Leeper added 11 kills and hit at a .375 percentage.

Will Beikes broke the Wabash four-set record with 48 assists versus the Eagles.
Christopher Board picked up a team-best 20 digs in the victory.

Wabash is scheduled to wrap up its spring break tour with a pair of matches at Averett University on Saturday. The Little Giants open against the host Cougars at 11 a.m. before facing Warren Wilson College at 1 p.m.
