Volleyball Spring Break Trip Starts With Loss at Midway

Wabash started the first day of its spring break trip Wednesday with a 3-1 victory at Midway College in Kentucky. An injury in the second match between Wabash and Bluefield University ended in a 3-0 forfeit by the Little Giants due to a limited travel roster for the spring break trip.

Wabash (11-6) opened with a four-set win at Midway Wednesday morning. The Little Giants raced out to a 10-4 lead in the first set and claimed a 25-16 victory. Midway (2-12) took the second set 25-23, but the Little Giants rallied for a 25-22 win in the third set before finishing the match with a 25-18 victory in the fourth set.
