Wabash College volleyball concluded its 2024 spring break tour with a pair of 3-0 wins Saturday afternoon in Virginia. The Little Giants started the day with a 3-0 victory against the host Averett University Cougars, followed by a 3-0 win versus the Warren Wilson College Owls.

Wabash (12-5) never trailed in the first set versus Averett, scoring a 25-13 victory in the set. The Little Giants captured the second set 25-9 with only two early ties in the set, then played a back-and-forth third set with six ties and four lead changes before earning a 25-15 win and the 3-0 match victory.

Bawibawi Thang and
Zev Wolverton picked up 13 kills apiece, and Thang finished with a .400 attack percentage.
Will Beikes handed out 30 assists and shared match-high dig honors with Wolverton as each recorded five digs over three sets.

The Little Giants trailed only once in the second set against Warren Wilson to earn 25-16, 25-18, and 25-18 wins to capture their 12
th win of the season. Thang put away a program-record 22 kills in three sets with a .434 hitting percentage. Beikes add 40 assists, one away from tying his three-set record of 41. Wolverton scored a team-best ten digs on defense for Wabash.

The Little Giants return to Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League action on Friday, March 15, with a 7 p.m. match against Calvin University at Chadwick Court.
