Wabash Trio Combines For One-Hit Win At Anderson

Caleb Everson, Robbie Manuzzi, and Dylan Haslett combined to throw a one-hit shutout on Wednesday as Wabash earned an 11-0 victory at Anderson University.
 
Everson started on the mound for Wabash (16-17), going one shutout inning without giving up a hit. Manuzzi (3-2) picked up the win out of the bullpen and went five shutout innings, allowing one hit, walking three, and striking out two. Haslett closed out the final inning with two strikeouts out of three batters faced before the game ended after seven innings due to the ten-run rule.
 
The trio no-hit Anderson (20-13) through five innings before Nolan Netter led off the sixth inning for the Ravens and picked up an infield single.
 
Wabash scored two runs in the first inning and three more in the second. A six-run fourth inning provided the margin that ended the game early.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Little Giants scored two runs on a single by William McKinzie and a ground out by Kamden Earley. Earley delivered a sacrifice fly to bring in the first of three runs in the second. Nick Logan drove in a run with a single to center. Wabash added a third run on one of the four Anderson errors in the game.
 
Nick Logan started a six-run fourth inning with an RBI single to left. The Little Giants added another run on an Anderson error ahead of a Michael Galanos RBI single to left. Wabash loaded the bases before Camden Scheidt cleared the bases with a triple down the right-field line.
 
AJ Reid collected three hits to pace the offense. Scheidt finished with two hits and three RBI. Logan delivered two RBI on two hits. Will Fremion also picked up two hits for the Little Giants.
