Four Wabash College baseball team members earned 2024 Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Tuesday. Reece Bauer, Caleb Everson, Dylan Haslett, and Robbie Manuzzi were all named to the 2024 CSC Academic All-District Seven team.
 
Bauer, a senior outfielder and economics major, played in all 40 games for Wabash with 39 starts. He led the team with 12 successful sacrifice bunts and tied for second among Little Giant players with both five stolen bases and 27 walks on the season. Bauer ranked third among Wabash players with a .336 batting average and 39 runs scored. 
 
Everson, a sophomore pitcher and economics and Spanish double major,  led the Little Giants with six wins as a starter, finishing 6-2 for the season with a 5.23 earned run average in 11 starts. The sophomore right-hander pitched 62 innings, allowing 83 hits and 17 walks while striking out a team-best 68 batters. Everson was part of Wabash's lone shutout of the season, an 11-0 win at Anderson.
 
Haslett, a junior pitcher and financial economics major, posted a 2-2 record as a sophomore reliever for the Little Giants in 2024. He appeared in 15 games and posted a team-best four saves. Haslett pitched 39.2 innings and allowed 13 earned runs with 35 hits and 18 walks. He struck out 27 batters and limited opposing hitters to a .243 batting average. Haslett closed out the shutout win at Anderson by recording two strikeouts of the three batters he faced in the final inning. Both Haslett and Everson earned 2024 North Coast Athletic Conference Third Team honors.
 
Manuzzi, a junior pitcher and biology major, appeared in ten games for the Little Giants with five starts. He pitched 33.2 innings and struck out 15 batters while limiting opponents to a .278 batting average and finished with a 3-2 record.
 
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Nominees must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore in academic standing, play in at least 90 percent of games, start at least 66 percent of games, make at least 18 pitching appearances, or pitch at least 25 innings for the season.
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 2. The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
