LIMA, Ohio --- The Wabash College tennis team completed the 2024-2025 regular season on Friday with a non-conference contest against Ohio Northern University. The Little Giants captured five singles victories to earn a 5-2 win over the host Polar Bears.
 
Wabash (14-8) earned one doubles win to open the match. Augusto Ghidini and Rafael Rin combined for a 6-4 victory at number one doubles. Ohio Northern (8-8) won the remaining doubles matches to capture the team points to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
 
Rin scored a 6-3, 6-2 victory at number one singles for the Little Giants. Murilo Guarniari held off his opponent at number two singles to earn a 7-6 (7-5), 7-6 (7-5) win to put Wabash up in the match. Ghidini added a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the third singles flight. Maksymilian Domanski picked up a three-set win at number four singles by scores of 6-4, 5-7, 10-6. Vittorio Bono won the final singles match for Wabash with a three-set victory at number five singles by scores of 3-6, 6-3, 10-8.
 
Wabash opens play in the 2025 North Coast Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament on Friday, May 2.
