GRINNELL, Iowa — Edmon Neto delivered Wabash College's lone singles victory Sunday morning, but Grinnell College captured the doubles point and five of six singles matches to hand the Little Giants a 6-1 road loss.

Neto provided the highlight for Wabash (2-4) at No. 6 singles, securing a 6-4, 7-6 (7-2) decision over Aman Kothari. After closing out the first set by a single break, Neto held firm in a tightly contested second set and controlled the tiebreaker to finish off the straight-set win.

Murilo Guarniari turned in one of the most competitive performances of the day at No. 3 singles. He dropped the opening set 6-4 to Garvin Murray and pushed the second set to 7-5 before Murray secured the straight-set decision.

At No. 4 singles Henry Park earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Augusto Ghidini. Devansh Punjabi completed the singles sweep at the top five positions with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Tharakesh Ashokar in the fifth singles flight.

The Pioneers responded with a 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles, as Alex Doane and Gutbezahl defeated Ashokar and Shifferly , and added a 6-1 decision at No. 3 doubles , where Kothari and Punjabi topped Guarniari and Neto.
