CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. — Wabash College junior outside hitter Bawibawi Thang earned Men's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week honors from the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League for his performance in a trio of Little Giant matches last week.

Thang recorded 47 kills over three matches and finished with a .340 attack percentage to help the Little Giants capture two MCVL victories to open the league portion of the season.

Thang put away 16 kills in a five-set thriller in a loss to Westminster last Sunday. He finished with a .333 attack percentage and added two service aces in the match.

Friday, Thang hit .375 with nine kills in a three-set win at the University of Olivet to open MCVL action for Wabash. He followed that effort with a season-best 22 kills and another .333 attack percentage in a four-set victory at Adrian College.
