Sophomore
Murilo Guarniari was named to the All-NCAC Second Team in singles after posting a 9-10 dual match record across the No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 flights. Senior
Augusto Ghidini and junior
Rafael Rin earned Second Team All-NCAC doubles honors after compiling an 11-6 record at the No. 1 flight.
Â
Guarniari compiled a 13-12 overall singles record, including 9-10 in dual matches and 4-2 in tournament play. In conference action, he went 2-5. He posted a 1-4 mark at the No. 1 flight, a 4-2 record at No. 2, a 3-2 mark at No. 3 and a 1-2 record at No. 4.
Â
Guarniari's record belied the quality of his opposition. He faced nationally ranked opponents throughout the season, including No. 5 Case Western Reserve, where he fell to Derek Shiffer 0-6, 2-6 at No. 4 singles, and No. 13 Kenyon, where he lost to NCAC Newcomer of the Year Maximo Llamas Castellanos 2-6, 1-6 in the No. 2 flight.
Â
The sophomore also delivered clutch performances against top-tier competition. Against Washington University - St. Louis, Guarniari defeated Case Fagan 6-3, 6-4 at the No. 3 flight. He also rallied against Oberlin's Shawn Lisann — a fellow All-NCAC selection — winning 0-6, 6-1, 6-4.
Â
The doubles partnership of Ghidini and Rin emerged as one of the NCAC's most formidable pairings in 2025-26.
Â
The duo posted a 16-7 overall record, including an 11-6 dual match mark and a 5-1 record in tournament play. In conference action, they went 4-3, competing exclusively at the No. 1 flight.
Â
Their success began in the fall, when Ghidini and Rin won the doubles bracket at the DePauw University Fall Tournament, defeating teams from Hanover (6-1), Greenville (7-5) and DePauw (8-6) to claim the championship. They then advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2025 ITA Fall Central Region Tournament in Kalamazoo, Michigan, knocking off doubles pairs from Kalamazoo College (8-3) and Washington University-St. Louis (8-7) before falling to Case Western Reserve (2-8).
Â
During the dual match season, the pair delivered several signature victories against nationally ranked opponents. Against Washington University - St. Louis, they edged Colin Fox and Jeremy Sieben in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-5). They also topped Oberlin's Second Team All-NCAC doubles duo of Shawn Lisann and Cameron Weiss, 7-5.
Â
Down the stretch, Ghidini and Rin were dominant, beating Wooster's Enzo Lopes and Anthony VanOyen 6-0 and John Carroll's Jean Davin and Anthony Markello 6-2. They closed the season in the NCAC Tournament by defeating DePauw's First Team All-NCAC doubles pair of Finley Buelte and Will Cramer, 7-5.
