The 2011 fall season of practices ended for the Wabash tennis team with a trip to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region Tournament over the weekend in St. Louis, Missouri.

Evan Bayless and Ian Leonard combined for an 8-5 win in doubles play in the first round of the tournament against Will Palmer and Joseph Glass from Transylvania.

Leonard also earned a singles victory in the St. Louis Collegiate Tournament portion of the weekend, defeating Davis Vanderveen from Hope College 6-1, 6-4. Freshman Mark Troiano was an individual winner with a first-round 6-2, 6-1 victory over Karolis Ruzges from Knox College.

Zach Lowryand Nate Koelper scored an 8-6 doubles win over Aaron Guenther and Ashvin Reddy from Illinois Wesleyan. Troiano and Peter Gunderman were 8-2 winners in doubles play against Patrick Richardson and Tyler Pewitt from Transylvania.
