Wabash lost its first match of the tennis team's California road trip, dropping a 9-0 contest at Whittier College on Monday afternoon.

Peter Gunderman was the only Little Giant player to force a third set, playing to a score of 6-1, 4-6, 10-8 at number three singles.

Wabash (7-4) returns to action on Wednesday when the Little Giants play at Occidental College.
