The Wabash tennis team advanced to the fifth-place match of the 2013 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Championship Tournament, but lost a 5-3 finals match to Allegheny College to finish sixth.
Mark Troiano and
Nate Koelper scored an 8-6 win at number two doubles, but the Little Giants trailed 2-1 heading into the singles matches.
Troiano scored a come-from-behind three-sets victory at number three singles. He lost the first set in a tiebreaker by a score of 7-6 (6-8), but rallied for scores of 6-4, 6-0 in the last two sets. Koelper also need three sets to earn a 1-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory at number four singles.
Allegheny captured three singles matches to go with two doubles victories to take fifth place in the tourney.
Wabash finished the season with an overall record of 16-13.
