Wabash College sophomore guard Jack Davidson has been named to the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District® VII Men's Basketball First Team, selected by CoSIDA.
 
Davidson is an economics major with a 3.78 cumulative grade point average. He leads the North Coast Athletic Conference and ranks seventh in Division III in scoring with a 25.5 points-per-game average. He scored a career-best 47 points in the Little Giants' win over Hiram College in the opening round of the NCAC Tournament. The 47-point effort was the third-best single-game total in Wabash history and the most points scored in a single NCAC Men's Tournament game.
 
Davidson recently broke the NCAA all-divisions record for consecutive free throws made with 95 over the course of 14 games. He leads all of Division III in free throw percentage having made 200 of 215 attempts overall for the season (93 percent).
 
The Google Cloud Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® program separately recognizes basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
 
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March.
 
 
The Division III Google Cloud Academic All-America® programs is partially financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structures to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2018-19 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
