Wabash College junior guard Keegan Manowitz and senior post Gavin Schippert were named to the 2026 Academic All-District NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Team announced Tuesday.
Student-athletes nominated for Academic All-District recognition must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and either appear in 90 percent of their team's games or start in at least 66 percent of contests.
Manowitz, an economics major, played in all 26 games with two starts. He averaged 5.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while recording 44 assists. Manowitz shot 38.4 percent from the field and 36.5 percent from 3-point range. He scored a career-high 15 points against John Carroll, making 5 of 8 shots, including 4 of 7 from 3-point range. He added 11 points in a home win over Oberlin, shooting 4 of 7 from the field and 3 of 5 from beyond the arc. In the regular-season finale at Oberlin, Manowitz scored 12 points, all from 3-point range, on 4-of-9 shooting. He also recorded a career-high five assists against Rose-Hulman.
Schippert, a financial economics major, earned All–North Coast Athletic Conference third-team honors in 2026. A four-year starter, he finished his career with 558 rebounds to rank 15th on Wabash's all-time list. Schippert averaged 10.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in his final season. His five double-doubles during the 2025-26 campaign led the team and ranked among the conference leaders. He finished second in the NCAC in rebounds during conference games at 8.6 per contest and averaged 11.5 points in conference play, tied for 18th in the league.
