The Wabash College basketball program earned a 2025-26 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, while five Little Giants were selected for the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court.
Gavin Schippert, Grant Brown,
Josh Whack,
Keegan Manowitz, and
Randy Kelley represented Wabash on the Honors Court.
Schippert, a senior, majored in financial economics. Brown, a senior, majored in economics. Whack, a senior, majored in rhetoric. Manowitz, a junior, majored in financial economics. Kelley, a senior, majored in psychology.
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men's basketball programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. This marks the ninth time overall and the seventh consecutive season the Wabash College basketball team has earned Team Academic Excellence honors from the NABC.
The Honors Court recognizes juniors, seniors, and graduate students who finished the academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
"College basketball student-athletes do incredible things on the court, but their achievements in the classroom are equally worthy of celebration," NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson said.
The NABC presents its academic awards annually to teams and student-athletes from all levels of college basketball. More than 2,300 players earned places on the 2025-26 Honors Court, while more than 400 programs received Team Academic Excellence Awards.
