The Wabash golf team trimmed 29 strokes off its first-round score to finish in a tie for sixth place out of ten teams at the 2021 Wittenberg Fall Classic Monday afternoon.

The Little Giants fired a final round 304 after shooting 333 in the opening round of play on Sunday. Wabash tied with Ohio Northern for sixth place with a total score of 637. Wittenberg won the team competition with a score of 581, followed by Webster in second place with a total of 591 strokes.

Brayden Weiss finished in eighth place overall with a two-round total of 149 strokes after shooting a two-under-par 68 on Monday to finish the tournament at nine-over par.
Hyatt Hines carded a two-round total of 155 strokes to tie for 21
st-place out of 53 golfers competing at the tournament. He shot a 75 on Monday after scoring an 80 on Sunday.

Mark Poole tied for 23
rd place with a score of 156 with rounds of 80 on Sunday and 76 on Monday.
Matthew Lesniak completed the team scoring for Wabash by scoring a 177 (92-85) for the tournament.

Wabash will complete the fall portion of its schedule next week by competing at the Guilford College Invitational in North Carolina scheduled for October 25-26
