Wabash Ties For Seventh At Wittenberg Golf Classic

The Wabash College golf team closed out the fall portion of the 2023-2024 season Monday by tying for seventh place out of 13 teams competing at the Wittenberg Fall Classic.
 
The Little Giants shot identical rounds of 308 over the two-day tournament to finish with a score of 616. Wittenberg won the team title with a score of 573 strokes.
 
Brayden Weiss turned in the top individual performance for Wabash. The senior tied for ninth place out of a field of 69 golfers. Weiss shot rounds of 74 on both days to post a 148. He tied for the second-most birdies for the tournament with eight. Mark Poole led the field with 25 pars and tied for 14th place with a score of 150 (75-75). Poole and Weiss tied for fifth place in par-three scoring with an average score of 3.13 strokes on those particular holes.
 
Sean Bledsoe captured 17th place with rounds of 75 and 76 for a two-round total of 151 strokes. He ranked fifth in par-four scoring with an average of 4.15 for the tournament. Robert Pruzin and Seth Hooe tied for 62nd place with scores of 172. Pruzin shot rounds of 84 and 88. Hooe turned in scores of 89 and 83.
