Wabash College freshman Eduardo Werneck earned North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week after his Saturday performance in the Little Giants' two home matches.
 
Werneck won two singles matches against Millikin University and the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The freshman scored a straight-sets victory at number six singles against Rodrigo Laux of Millikin by scores of 6-4, 6-3. Werneck defeated Andrew Leonard from Rose-Hulman in their fifth singles flight 6-4, 6-3 to finish 2-0 for the day.
  
Werneck scored one of the four points for Wabash in the Little Giants' 5-4 loss to Millikin. He added a point in a 7-2 Wabash victory over Rose-Hulman in the evening match.
