Wabash College junior forward Jose Escalante earned All-Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches, as announced on Tuesday. Escalante was named to the All-Region VII Third Team.
 
Escalante received all-region honors for the first time in his career after picking up First Team All-North Coast Athletic Conference honors earlier this year. Escalante finished fourth in scoring in the conference with nine goals in 17 games. He scored a season-best two goals twice in wins against Bluffton University and the College of Wooster. Escalante also gave out two assists on the season with helpers in a 3-1 win against Alma and a 2-2 draw versus DePauw.
