The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced its annual NCAA Division III Scholar All-America awards on Wednesday. The Wabash College wrestling team earned Scholar All-America Team honors, while five individuals garnered Scholar All-America recognition. In addition, Wabash head coach
Jake Fredricksen was named the NWCA Division III Rookie Coach of the Year.

The Wabash wrestling team ranked 28
th in the 2024 NWCA Scholar All-America Team standings with a 3.487 team grade point average. Little Giant wrestlers
Evan Burge (computer science major),
James Day (biology major),
Jesse Herrera (psychology major),
Mawuli Nevis (biology major), and
Tim Smith (physics major) were recognized for their accomplishments on the mat and in the classroom as 2024 NWCA Scholar All-Americans. Day earned All-America honors at the 2024 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament with a third-place finish in the 125-pound bracket. Burge, Herrera, and Smith were national tournament qualifiers after top-three finishes at the NCAA DIII Central Region Tournament.

Fredricksen was named the NWCA DIII Rookie Coach of the Year at the conclusion of the national tournament after guiding Wabash to a top-20 finish with seven national qualifiers. His Little Giant squad won two individual titles and finished second out of 19 teams at the Central Region Tournament. Wabash won the Manchester Spartan Invitational team title, placed second out of nine teams at the Adrian College Invitational, and finished 3-0 at the Hilltopper Duals. The Little Giants scored wins over the ninth-ranked team from the College of New Jersey and against Aurora University at the annual NWCA National Duals in Fredricksen's first year as the Wabash head coach.
