Little Giants Tied For Third Entering Final Day of 2024 NCAC Men's Golf Championships

Wabash moved into a tie for third place heading into Sunday's final round of the 2024 North Coast Athletic Conference Men's Golf Championships. The Little Giants shot a round of 288 on Saturday at the Westfield Country Club North Course in Westfield Center, Ohio. 

The Little Giants entered Saturday's second round tied with Kenyon College for first place in the team standings after the two teams shot 280 on the opening day of the three-day tournament. Wabash fell eight shots back of Kenyon on Saturday. The Owls top the team standings with a score of 560 through 36 holes. Wittenberg is second with a score of 565 strokes. Wabash and DePauw are tied for third place with scores of 568. Denison and Wooster are tied for fifth place at 586. Ohio Wesleyan is seventh (593), and Hiram is eighth (623). 

Miles Patterson paced the Little Giants on Saturday. The senior shot 73 to move to eighth place with a two-round score of 142. Teammates Brayden Weiss and Mark Poole are tied for ninth place with identical scores of 143. Poole fired a round of 72 on Saturday. Weiss carded a 74 over the 18-hole course. 

Sean Bledsoe moved to a tie for 12th place after shooting a low round of 70 for the Little Giants on Saturday. The sophomore is tied with teammate Lewis Dellinger with scores of 144. Dellinger shot a 73 on Saturday. 

Sunday's final round of competition begins at 12:10 at the Westfield North Course.
