The Wabash College wrestling team closed out the 2025 National Wrestling Coaches Association / United States Marine Corps National Duals Tournament with a 37-7 victory over Albion to finish 15
th out of 24 Division III teams selected to participate in the competition.

The Little Giants started the day against the University of Olivet, ranked 23
rd in the latest NWCA dual-meet poll. Wabash raced out to a quick start with back-to-back wins, beginning with a 15-0 shutout tech fall victory by
Andrew Punzalan at 125 pounds. Junior
James Day kept his unbeaten streak intact at the tournament when his 133-pound bout was stopped at 5:10 due to an injury.

Olivet ended the Wabash scoring streak by posting victories in the next seven matches before
Titus Waters ended the Comets' run with an 8-3 victory in the heavyweight match. Olivet claimed the 31-14 team win to send the Little Giants to the day's final match against Albion.

Wabash lost at Albion 25-14 in November in the Little Giants' first dual meet of the season. The Britons scored the first points of the match with a win at 125 pounds before the Little Giants took control and dominated the rest of the match. Day finished undefeated for the weekend with a 15-0 tech fall at 133 pounds.
Mason Weyant followed with another 15-0 tech fall at 141 pounds.
Andrew Ross made it three of a kind with his 15-0 tech fall victory in the 149-pound bout.

Josyah Holland provided a fourth consecutive win with a forfeit at 157 pounds.
Ayden Lutes also got a forfeit at 165 pounds.
Jaylen Young finished the stretch of six straight wins with an 8-1 decision at 174 pounds. Albion scored its final points with a victory at 184 pounds before
Hadyn Ball scored an 8-6 win at 197 pounds, and Waters added a 10-2 major victory at heavyweight to give Wabash a 37-7 win to finish the day.

Wabash returns to action next Saturday, competing at the annual Manchester University Spartans Mat Classic.
