INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Wabash College golf team battled a strong national field Monday in the opening two rounds of the 2025 Wabash College Invitational at Broadmoor Country Club, finishing the day in 10th place with a team total of 600 (+24).
Emory University surged to the top of the 18-team leaderboard with a blistering 555 (-21) after rounds of 284 and 271, followed closely by Carnegie Mellon at 559 (-17) and Illinois Wesleyan's "B" squad at 565 (-11). Wabash's "B" team finished the first day in 17th place with a 632 (+56).
Sophomore
Leo Dellinger led the Little Giants' "A" team with a two-round total of 149 (+5), firing a steady even-par 72 in the second round after opening with a 77. He sits tied for 34th overall.
Sean Bledsoe followed close behind at 150 (+6) after improving from a 77 to a 73 in round two, while
Finn Carteaux posted rounds of 74 and 77 for a 151 (+7).
Liam McAllister recovered from an opening 82 with a strong 74 in round two to stand at 156 (+12), and
Charlie Seaburg rounded out the scoring for the Wabash "A" team with 76–81 for 157 (+13).
The Wabash "B" squad was paced by
Louis Leon Gryglewski, who carded rounds of 78 and 76 for a 154 (+10) to sit tied for 60th individually.
Alex Schenkel followed with 81–78 (159, +15), while
Mason Pierle finished at 160 (+16) after matching rounds of 80.
Jacob Eble shot 82–80 (162, +18), and
Coen Bauschek added a 79–85 (164, +20).
Emory's Kevin Mu leads the individual field after two rounds at 134 (-10), highlighted by a 7-under-par 65 in the second round.
The Invitational concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes at Broadmoor Country Club.
